GORGES & WATERFALLS

Discover the brawling power of the water

The Partnach torrent is the natural outward flow of the Schneeferner, which is the rest of an Ice Age glacier. However, the Hammersbach torrent consists of the melting waters of the Höllentalferner glaciers which is located on the Northern flank of the Zugspitze and the Waxenstein mountains. For many decades, Partnach and Hammersbach channeled their way through the rock formations down to the valley. Thus the gorges Partnachklamm and Höllentalklamm were formed.
Roaring waters, a unique spectacle of nature, wild and also romantic, explore these phenomena while walking through our gorges. This is also a thrilling adventure for kids.
