URSPRUNG & VERLAUF

It does not really matter, this patch leads anyway you through an extremely impressive mountain area offering different splendid views to the Zugspitze. If you want to have extraordinary and fascinating adventures in nature, you can ride on the Loisach with a kayak or a canoe. But caution: the way between the national border at the hamlet Griessen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen is also the solely approved route for kayak world championships in Germany. It features very difficult parts. Only very experienced canoeists should try it. For beginners, we highly recommend to be accompanied by a certified trainer in this canoeing area. Alternatively, you can also join a group rafting tour organized by the instructors.
