GUEST BUS BAVARIA-TYROL
Operating hours: the guest bus is currently not in operation.
The Bavaria-Tyrol guest bus is currently on hiatus. Expected start of the 2024 summer season: 1 July 2024. The timetable is expected to be available from mid-June 2024.
ROUTES & STOPS:
Lermoos Unterdorf - Ehrwald Bahnhof (ÖBB)– Bahnhof Untergrainau – Schmölz, Junction Grainau – Bahnhof Garmisch (Westside at Bhf. Zugspitzbahn) – Marienplatz Garmisch (Alpspitzstrasse) and back.
The bus stops at the regular stops of the local bus operators. The timetable is posted and is highlighted in yellow.
TRAVEL ENTITLEMENT:
All of the holiday guests of the Zugspitz Arena Bayern-Tirol are entitled to travel. This includes the communities of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, the municipality of Grainau and the market town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
A valid guest card must be presented upon boarding.

PLEASE NOTE:
Only holiday guests with the following valid guest cards are entitled to travel:
- GaPaCard, GaPa Guest Card - GrainauCard - Guest Card Tiroler Zugspitz Arena - Zugspitz Arena Bayern-Tirol CARD- Travel is free of charge, a valid guest card is the ticket and must be presented upon boarding.
- We ask for your understanding that only guests with the above valid guest cards can travel.
- You will receive the guest card from your host on arrival at your accommodation, either printed out as a paper card or earliest 2 weeks before arrival by e-mail with a download link as a digital card for your smartphone. Therefore your email address is requested. Ask your host for the guest card if he does not automatically give it to you.
- Children under 6 years of age travelling with their parent or legal guardian are free of charge. In this case, the guest card of the parent or guardian is sufficient.
- Transport of dogs, baby buggies, wheelchairs, ski-/snowboard-equipment and toboggan is free of charge.
- No transport of bikes in the winter season.
- Please note: the use of the connecting buses/local bus lines is not free of charge for all guests of the Zugspitz Arena Bayern-Tirol. Information on this at www.zugspitze.com/guestcard
