Hi,

I am Loisl and have been living in the Zugspitz Arena Bayern-Tirol since I was born. Even my ancestors come from the region. My mother is born in Bavaria and my father comes from Tyrol. That is why I know the area so well and can give you the best tips. Because I am so curious, I always know what is going on where. Maybe you have already wondered where my name comes from? Loisl comes from the Loisach, the river connecting the region, which flows through all three regions. The river has its source in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena and runs through the Zugspitzdorf Grainau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen on its way to the Isar.

In my free time I do a lot of sports, from cycling and hiking in summer to skiing and cross-country skiing in winter. Furthermore, I am a real gourmet and love the Tyrolean and Bavarian cuisine with its traditional dishes such as bacon dumplings, Kaiserschmarren, pork knuckle and white sausages. Since I know the region so well, I thought about embellishing the holiday with personal tips for our guests. Which lifts are in operation? Which restaurants / bars are open?
