No matter what style, equipment, or speed, all night-time tobogganers have one thing in common: they love the thrill of the descent. Toboggans can also be hired at the lower terminal in Ehrwald. On reaching the bottom, tobogganers can use their lift ticket to return to the upper terminal, where they’ll be greeted by a gourmet evening in the Tirolerhaus, located directly next to the Ehrwalder Almbahn terminal. The highlight: the ‘hot hat’. This special fondue pot is modelled on the traditional hat of the Tatars, the legendary equestrian people of the Mongols – and your host may be able to explain how it came to Tyrol.
