Sleep like an Inuit on Germany's highest mountain

Do you like it adventurous and romantic? Spend the most unusual and, without a doubt, the coolest winter night (without becoming an Icicle yourself) at the Igloo Village on Zugspitze.

The village has up to 20 igloos made of snow and ice, filling the Zugspitze with polar romance, high above the clouds. Nowhere else can you see the night stars from as close as on the highest point in Germany. In addition to an impressive sense of well-being the Igloo Village has a bar, its own kitchen and two whirlpools. Exciting and comfortable, just as you imagine your overnight stay will be. In order that no one freezes, snug and soft sleeping bags and sheepskins, as well as expedition mats and mattresses are available.

If the thought of indoor temperatures between zero and four degrees cold does become a bit too much, you can warm up in one of the whirlpool baths in the middle of the beautiful snowy landscape.

In order to really earn your dinner (an original Swiss gourmet cheese fondue), you can admire the stars sparkling in the night sky on a night hike beforehand.

The morning after, Gletscherrestaurant Sonn Alpin will send you out to face the day in a good mood with a summit breakfast. Being the first to enjoy going down the slopes is impressive!
