parking lot at the trainstation (P11)

The Zugspitz train station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is just a few minutes' walk away (underpass at the DB train station). From here, the cog wheel train runs in the direction of Hammersbach (exit to the Höllentalklamm) - Grainau - Eibsee - Zugspitzplatt. The Garmisch pedestrian zone is also in the direct neighborhood and easy to reach on foot.
