THIS IS ZUGSPITZE

At 2,962 m, the Zugspitze is Germany's highest mountain and one of the Alps' most popular panoramic peaks.

In good weather, you can enjoy the 4-country panorama of the two- and three-thousand-metre peaks (and the only four-thousand-metre peak) of the Eastern Alps.

You can get directly to the summit from Ehrwald with the Tyrolean Zugspitzbahn.

Even the ascent in the 100-passenger panorama cabins is an experience.

You glide almost silently up the mountain and cover a difference in altitude of 1,725 m in just 10 minutes.
Those who want to enjoy the distant winter view while skiing are in particularly good hands on the Zugspitzplatt.
The altitude and the glacier guarantee snow throughout the winter season.
