Sonnalmbahn Berwang | Mountain Lift
cable cars Sonnalmbahn Berwang & Almkopfbahn Bichlbach
The ski arena of Bergbahnen Berwang is suitable for beginners, advanced skiers, families and professionals and offers ideal slopes for all skiers and snowboarders between 1,100 and 1,750m above sea level.
Lots of skiing fun awaits on dusty slopes or quiet cross-country trails.
Berwang is not a ski arena to get dizzy, a ski arena that turns out to be quite a circus, not a giant area where you'd rather not let your kids out of your sight. Berwang is a picturesque mountain village in the ski and winter sports paradise Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.
Here, the slopes and runs are literally at your feet, because the ski resorts are right on your doorstep.
Here, at a snow-sure 1,342 m above sea level, you can relax and enjoy a family-friendly vacation.
The little ones can go off on their own with their skis and still be within sight of the hotel terrace.
What is a ski circuit?
A ski circuit is a combination of several ski areas. For example, with the Berwangertal ski circuit you have the following options:
From the Almkopfbahn in Bichlbach via the Hochalm to the Sonnalmbahn, from there on to the Obere Karbahn, Thanellerkarlift, to the Panoramabahn Rastkopf via the "Superabfahrt" from the upper Rastkopf to Rinnen/Rinnerlift and via the Mooslift to the Thanellerkarlift and with the Egghof Sun Jet back to the Sonnalmbahn (or in the opposite direction).
The advantages of the Berwangertal ski area:
- 13 lifts
- 36 km of groomed slopes
- Fantastic slopes all the way to the village center
- Children's lifts with expert supervision
- Compact snow facilities
- Night skiing & night tobogganing
- Free parking spaces
- Train stop right next to the Almkopfbahn Bichlbach valley station
- Most modern chip card technology from Skidata
