Seaba Geist - Fountain at the church square

Statue by Ehrwald artist Mario Gasser made of marble from Lasa.

It embodies the spirit, dwelling in the rocks around the legendary Seebensee, whose crystal-clear waters plunge and melt in a dusty waterfall 200 m deep into the valley. Our drinking water also gushes out of the crevices at the foot of the Seebenwand, a precious water that soothingly supplies the entire village. The masterpiece was chosen by the local council and thus it has set a worthy monument to the seemingly insignificant, everyday element, our drinking water.
