Pfarrkirche Maria Himmelfahrt

During the big "market fire" in December 1865, the parish church of Partenkirchen at that time burned down to the foundation walls. After the foundation stone was laid in 1871, it was rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style after only thirty years of construction. The plans came from the architect Mathias Berger.
