The ravages of time gnawed away at the wayside shrine, whose inscription was barely legible; "He who dwells under the protection of the Most High, who rests under the harm of omnipotence, says to the Lord: You are my refuge and my house, in You I trust". 04.08.1934.
The wayside shrine was artistically created by the sculptor and mountain guard member Johann Weinhart. The wooden cross standing on the so-called cross floor was also newly created by the mountain rescue service. The dedication took place on 03 October 1982.
