The chapel in Untergarten was donated and built in 1760 by farmer Kaspar Fasser
A baroque altar with a canopy and a statue of the Madonna with several putti decorate the interior.
At the end of the war in 1945 the chapel was badly damaged and the village burned down.
After the war, it was rebuilt and renovated.
